Terms of service
The agreement between you and Odainn when you use this site, create an account or subscribe to Odainn Plus — kept short and plain. As a consumer you also have rights that no terms can take away; nothing here limits them.
Last updated: 5 October 2026 · Odainn was called Aevum until October 2026.
Who runs Odainn
Odainn is operated by Dzmitry Zhur, based in Poland. You can reach us at hello@odainn.com — for questions, refunds, legal or authority requests.
What Odainn is — and isn’t
Odainn shows what is most likely to cause death for people like you, from official mortality statistics, and what lowers those risks. The numbers are statistics for people of your age, sex and country, adjusted by your answers — averages, not a prediction about you.
It is educational. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a medical device, and it doesn't replace a doctor. The AI guide only explains numbers our engine computed, and it can be wrong — check anything important with a doctor. In an emergency, call 112 or your local emergency number.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account.
- Keep your sign-in secure — you're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at hello@odainn.com if you think someone else got in.
- Answer honestly: your numbers are only as good as your answers.
- Add a loved one, or answer health questions for them, only if you care for them or have their permission. You confirm this before we store their answers.
- Use Odainn for yourself and the people you look after. Don't attack it, overload it, scrape it or resell what it shows. The statistics belong to their publishers, credited at the bottom of every page.
Odainn Plus: price, renewal and payment
Plus is a subscription, billed yearly or monthly. The price is shown before you pay and is the total you pay — no tax is added at checkout.
It renews automatically at the end of each year or month until you cancel, and we charge the card you subscribed with. Payments go through Stripe; we never see your card number.
If we ever change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price, so you can cancel first.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again over the following days and Plus stays on meanwhile. If it can't be collected, your account goes back to the free plan — nothing you've saved is deleted.
Cancelling
Cancel any time: on the Plus page, choose “Manage subscription”. Plus stays on until the end of the period you've paid for; then your account returns to the free plan and everything you've saved stays. Cancelling stops future payments; it doesn't refund the current period — except as described next.
Refunds and your 14-day right
Changed your mind? Email hello@odainn.com within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full — no questions asked, and nothing deducted for the days you used Plus. This is also your legal right, as a consumer, to withdraw from the contract within 14 days.
The same goes for yearly renewals: ask within 14 days after a yearly renewal and we'll refund it in full and end the subscription. Monthly renewals aren't refunded — cancel any time to stop the next one.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5–10 working days.
To withdraw, just tell us clearly — for example by emailing “I withdraw from my Odainn Plus subscription” from your account's email address. You may use the form below, but you don't have to.
Withdrawal form
To: Dzmitry Zhur (Odainn), hello@odainn.com
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the supply of the following service: Odainn Plus.
Ordered on: ______
Name: ______
Email address of the account: ______

Changes to Odainn
We keep improving Odainn, so features change. If we change Plus in a way that makes it clearly worse for you, we'll tell you first, and you can end the subscription and get back the unused part of what you paid.
If something goes wrong
We work hard to keep Odainn accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or online. Decisions about your health are yours and your doctor's; Odainn's statistics are one input, not instructions.
If you suffer a loss because of us, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before. This doesn't limit liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited — for example for intent or gross negligence — or your rights as a consumer.
Ending your account
You can delete your account any time on your account page. Your data is deleted as the privacy policy describes, and a subscription is cancelled immediately — if you're within 14 days of a payment, ask for your refund before you delete. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; if we close an account that did nothing wrong, we refund the unused part of what it paid.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts. Please write to us first — most things can be fixed with one email.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell members by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then. The date at the top shows the last change.
Your data
How we handle your data, health answers included, is in the privacy policy.
